Mari Reeves is an actor and teacher who brings children into the great stories — Shakespeare, fairy tale, and myth — and lets them speak the old words in their own voices. Her classrooms are rehearsal rooms, where a play is something you stand inside rather than simply read.
Alongside her teaching, she writes original theatrical works that draw on the same deep roots, shaping new stories for the stage.
She holds a PhD in drama therapy, and her teaching and performance work is grounded in that research.
