Shakespeare

A botanical study of an oak branch with green and amber leaves laid beside a white quill pen and a cluster of acorns.

Shakespeare was written to be spoken aloud — and children, given the chance, speak him fearlessly. Mari's Shakespeare work puts the original language in young performers' mouths and trusts them with it. The result is not a recital but a discovery: iambic pentameter as a heartbeat, four-hundred-year-old jokes landing fresh.
